The White Room

I’ve never been in for food but have been for drinks a few times. It’s the place to go in whitefield if you want a drink or two with friends as it’s always the busiest place.
Has an outdoor seating area on the street so you can sit and watch the world go by in the summertime. I can imagine you’d be exposed to a fair bit of pollution though with it being on a busy main road!
Inside its your typical cocktail bar with some comfy sofas and tables for eating. They serve food but can’t comment on the quality of it. You can order cocktails or beers, wines, spirits, tea, coffee etc. Always a lively atmosphere on a weekend, with people dressed up for a night out. Mixed crowd of all ages.

Excellent food, fantastic service, could not fault anything. Definitely going again!

Food is average. Quite expensive. Very rude staff.
Have been a number of times to the White Room — and you’d think after visiting a number of times, you’d start to become known as regulars. Unfortunately not the case here it seems. After the attitude we received from one of the staff (short, plain looking woman in glasses) on the last visit, we won’t be returning. Brusque, officious, impersonal and about as much charm as a traffic warden. Virtually threw the bill at us as we left after only ordering coffees instead of food.
It seems customers are just an inconvenience — well don’t worry, we certainly won’t be back. Far better places around Whitefield, Prestwich and Bury … in terms of quality of food, service and price.
