Decent foodie pub. Good range of real ales and nice atmosphere. Food could be better but for the price you can’t complain. Great outdoor area when the weathers nice.

Expensive, but is a nice place to relax especially out side. Plenty of people go and often becomes packed. Food is average pub grub. But not always worth the money be careful what you order to avoid disappointment.
Probably the nicest pub to look at compared to the grotty not very upmarket pubs around astley and tyldesley.

Came to the Bulls Head for Christmas Dinner. They closed the pub except for diners in the afternoon. Had a great meal, which was very relaxed with no rush and good quality food. An excellent day. Stayed too long 10:30pm when I left. But really good atmosphere. The pub is also an excellent mid week pub with good beers.

This pub is part of the Ember Inn chain and if reliably tasty pub grub that doesn’t empty your coffers is what you’re after this is spot on. Wide range of beer on offer with different real ales each month, comprehensive wine list at great prices. This place gets really busy on the weekend, a nice mix of people getting food and out for a few beers.
