The After Party – The Sunshine Underground @ The Fitzgerald

Well, isn’t this where the evening gets a touch fuzzy!
Up the flight of stairs above Rosylee, this hidden gem is a little bit of mahogany luxury. We seated ourselves quite comfortably in the high backed chairs — where I easily could have slept for the evening — but then moved over to the bar to be a bit more social.
What did I drink? Good question! Two overtly alcoholic cocktails… and that’s what I remember. What poor reviewing standards for an Elite.
A great wind down area from the main event, and I love the multi-​venue aspect of our recent big events. Always great to experience more than one place in an evening, even if it’s in a bit of a haze.

I have to do my reviews of last night in reverse order due to acute memory loss.
The Fitzgerald was a terrific choice to wind down after the Summer Party at Kraak. I think we climbed some stairs to get to the bar. Not 100% sure…
Anyway, there were a small number of Chesterfield-​like leather arm chairs for people to slump into as well as stools and tables closer to the bar for us to sit round and chat about what a fantastic night we’d all had.
Was there music playing? Again, dunno.
The drinks were good, a few too many bottles of Brooklyn Beer were guzzled. And on a school night!
A great venue to end the night after the high-​energy antics of earlier on. Hadn’t been here before but very much like the look and feel of the place — I’ll come back once I remember where it is…
