i have a strange love for Star News. I passed it every day for three years on the way to university, and popped in each day on the way home for a packet of Mini Cheddars.
I also always thought it was cool that they sell plastic pint glasses, but rather than Trisha, who sees them as an ideal accompaniment to a house party (no doubt they are) I furnished y student kitchen with them, so as to avoid having to wash up. Yes I am a disgrace, but those days are over, I promise.
The bloke who is always there is well nice as well. I wish i could say more good things about this shop but it is otherwise pretty normal,

Star News is an off licence store and a wonderful newsagents! You will rarely not get what you’re looking for.
They also keep plastic glasses and shot glasses which you will find missing in most of these kind of shops. When you’re out, up and about for a houseparty, the last minute glasses et al really need to make it! Star News to the rescue! Other than that aspect, it has crisps, chocolates, ice-​creams and many handy things in abundance. They also do international calling cards for really cheap calls to other countries!
Very apt and efficient in their stocks!
