Sporting Edge

This recreation centre is funding by a Bank, a famous football team and other funding streams!
They have provided a fantastic facility — let me take you on a walk around…
On entering the disabled access ramp through the automatic doors, you will walk in to the reception area. In front of you, to the right, is the desk. On the left is the leisure room (complete with projector, whiteboard, tables, chairs — you name it!), to the front right is the kitchen and oh! To the front left is a vending machine with drinks and snacks!
If you proceed right down the corridor, on your right you will find the I.T. room and then carry on through the double doors. On the right is the mens changing facilities and toilets and further down on the right is the females changing facilities and toilets.
However, on the right you will find the stock room (full of skates and protective gear!), the viewing room and finally the sports hall!
The sports hall is marked out on the floor for every type of game imaginable! It also has net curtains to separate it in to two or more sections and benches to perch.
I’ve attended this place for the past 9 weeks on a Sunday to play roller derby and skate and I can say the facility is modern, clean, offers a lot and is a great place to go!
The car park has plenty of spaces too!
