Scoop!

HaHa… I remember being away from Manchester for a while, I hadn’t ventured into the Arndale, and hadn’t heard of Scoop! and it’s addition to the Arndale. I met up with some friends at the bottom of the escalator, and fair squealed with delight when i realised it was an ice cream café. Ha, I’m such a loser, but it really did take me back to childhood delights of days when the only thing you ever crave is an icecream. I fair pushed my friends out of the way, and then i went back to them and dragged them with me. When i got over to the counter, my friends had made their decision, however, i took forever, the poor lass in the apron with the scooper looked like she was wanting to go on her break and unfortunately it was me that was preventing her from doing so. I had a Borat Cheese supermarket moment… in the end i was urged to just pick a damn flavour… haha…i did as instructed… and it was yummy tasty!
It’s expensive for icecream, but it’s tasty, and novelty value alone it’s a gem! Choice choice choice! Parents must dread and love this place… shut them up when they’re in need of a sugar fix and holy flip, they’re gonna want a ruddy icecream! Plus there’s an option to sit in, have a beverage with your ice delight, and even a sarnie too. Love it!

Scoop! is like an oasis, right in the centre of the Arndale. I took a break here the other day and had a gorgeous ice cream sundae for £3.45, which I was unable to finish. I had a few bites of my friend’s waffle and ice cream too, absolutely delicious. I mean how can you go wrong with that? It’s a match made in heaven.
Not only do they do ice cream, but they offer toasties and paninis for just £3.25, and great Italian coffees too. I love the forecourt terrace where you can sit, take the weight off and watch all the frantic Christmas shoppers running from store to store. It’s a real treat.
