Power Cuts

This place is aweful. The salon is dated, bare and freezing cold. The staff are rude. I went in for a cut and colour and I wanted a few highlights put in to add a bit of tone. I didn’t get what I asked for. The highlights look cheap and nasty and rather then being just a shade or two lighter than my hair which is what I asked for they are a stark yellow against my dark hair and they don’t even go all the way to the root, there is about 2 cm of brown hair from the root to the highlights. The cut is terrible, the worst I’ve ever had, there is no shape to it. Having my hair washed was like torture, the lady was so aggressive that my scalp felt sore and bruised. I will definitely not be going back and I am going to dye the highlights out and get it recut asap. The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hairdressers.

Neither trendy nor fuddy duddy, Power Cuts seems to exist somewhere in between. I had my hair cut by a great girl called Kelly who did a fantastic job. Not the best shampoo I’ve ever had (bit of a miserable trainee) but I was really pleased with the end result, I would definately recommend this place.
