Pizza Hut is Pizza Hut country wide really so this branch isn’t exactly unique, but it was the one I went to today. Service was acceptable although I would not say speedy but where it does get four stars is consistency of quality. I love PH deep pans, they are the nicest pizzas that I have tasted and best of all, I have never had a bad one from Pizza Hut. Their garlic bread with cheese on is also divine and more favourable to anywhere else. Where I do feel some negativity is the recent decision to change the menus so I can no longer have my favourite spicy hot one, and the sizing is a little daft as well now. 9″ regular(small) was £8 and 13″ Large was £14. I mean that(the large) is Dominos level of rip off which I simply thought no chance. So they no longer have the size range they used to, and today I asked for extra onions and peppers and was told it would be £1.10 extra so I said fair enough. However on the bill it was £1.10PER topping. I nearly had a heart attack and I don’t mean from the cholesterol. I thought blooming good job I didn’t ask for a large as the extras on a large are now £1.50 each!!! One pound fifty each I tell you, on top of the £14 for a large pizza. I think I’d have called the ambulance myself prior to the heart attack from bill shock, and possibly the police too for daylight robbery. However perhaps I protest too much as I did not venture that way today, I had starters, my regular pizza(which is basically the old small size) and shared an ice cream factory so all in all plus the other persons food it was £30 with refillable drinks so not too much to moan at. So if it wasn’t for the reducing of size options and the ridiculous pricing for extras it would have been 5 stars, alas Pizza Hut will have four stars and be glad of it.
