Moth is about style and simplicity. Inside it’s all muted greys and creams, with low benches full of beautiful gifts and trinkets for the home.
Mirrors, candles and candle holders share space with lamps, ceramics and tableware. There’s a range of toiletries from Provence; their understated bottles and packaging complementing the store’s décor. Then unexpectedly under one of the benches is a basket of hand knitted baby shoes.
This shop is just perfect for rummaging, whether you’re looking for a gift or something for your home. Prices are quite reasonable, considering the store’s address.

I can’t get enough of stores like this. I don’t know whether its name refers to the customers who are drawn in by the unusual items in the window or the buyers who trawl the world to bring them to the high street, but either way, Moth offers some of the most unique gifts you can buy in Didsbury.
I’ve only bought a candle in here before, but if I had the money I would have bought a whole lot more. From vases, jewellery, mirrors, lamps, art, vintage furniture, there is at least one thing in here that every person who walks through the door finds themselves needing. The owner doesn’t snoop around you either, which makes the whole experience very enjoyable. I always find it hard to leave!

An excellent place to find those gifts you couldn’t find at the generic high-​street shops. The butterfly canvas’ are extremely nice, and the owner is very friendly and happy to help. A neat addition to the West Didsbury, and Manchester, boutique scene. Well worth a visit. And it smells nice too!

Great independent shop selling all kinds of interior goodies. Worth traveling to as there is always some gem that it definitely a real find. A simple but perfect shop. Very helpful and welcoming owner. I could spend a fortune here. Glad to support someone stepping out of the mainstream boring high street label!

Moth is a really lovely shop to browse around. The shop stocks a range of interior goods from mirrors and stick on wall motifs to candles, light fittings, and pretty bowls. These are all some very beautiful goods but most of them out of my price range. The lady who owns the shop is friendly and helpful and unlike other quiet boutique-​type shops you do not feel watched as you wander around. Situated alongside the other independent shop and bars of Burton Road in Didsbury it is a lovely place to visit, and good place to go to pick up something special.

This is a delightful Boudoir selling stylish household items soaps and jewellery. I bought some lovely christmas lights last year that were very ususual like pods and enjoyed the effect all over christmas. The lady who runs this store is an interior designer and the shop has a lovely calm feel about it. Not too cluttered and quite a lot of products made from natural materials
