Mojos has always been a favourite of mine, not sure why it has taken me so long to review! I always seem to end up here if I am having a mad night out. Fridays and Saturdays here get super busy after 11ish and they have two floors of people dancing on tables and getting a bit rowdy. The music is right up my street, think Rolling Stones and Talking Heads with some Artic Monkeys thrown in for good measure. They are open until 4am Thursday-Sunday so it’s always my favourite way to end a night. They do some good food as well which I believe is served to 11, think burgers and wings. The staff are really cool but don’t take any nonsense from the customers! I also love that this place manages to stay relatively hipster free! Watch out for the queue on a weekend, it can sometimes be a pretty long wait.

I can’t believe I’d never been in here until last night! A friend recommended we pop in for a quick one after a few drinks with Unilocalers elsewhere and I’m glad she did! Completely different vibe to anywhere else I’ve been in Manchester, very busy due to it being Christmas, but even so a great experience! Only ended up staying for one beer as it was past my bedtime but the music was brilliant and the playlist was full of catchy indie songs which I love when I’m out drinking so top marks there! I envision a few more beers will be consumed by me in Mojo before the years out!

Mojo was a place i discovered when i moved down the road from it some years ago. When it came on the scene it was the only late night drinking den in the vicinity. Over the years a few more have opened but it is still my fave. Expect indie music a go go in here and they also have really useful screens which tell you the name of the artist and the album just in case you are having wine/beer induced amnesia and can’t remember for the heck of you the track or who sings it. It seems to go in waves in terms of numbers of people in the place but as a general rule if its a Saturday the later in the evening it gets the more rammed it is. Its my only gripe — i like have people about to enjoy the night with but if you can’t move without taking the people surrounding you with you it’s a bit off. Fine if it gets busy around you but often it can get a bit too much if you’re not in the mood for it — not a place for people with claustrophobia or anger issues

Definitely one of the best places in Manchester, especially to end a night. Been here three times in the last week or two and class nights every time. 100% As good as it gets. This isn’t going to be a long review because it doesn’t need to be, Mojos have a very simple concept: Top Music, Top Liquor, Top Beers and that equals a Top Bar. Example, last Thursday night, a spiced rum and ginger beer with some Sam Cooke blasting and then onto the Arctic Monkeys! Never been in for food, as it isn’t the type of place that comes to mind, but I’ll try and make a effort next year to give it a go.

Haven’t been to Mojo for ages so was really looking forward to my night there. The music is great. They play mainly indie but there is a good mix of old and new stuff all designed to get your feet moving. The drink prices were reasonable and the cocktails fab. The only down side is how busy it gets later on. By the end of the evening we could hardly move on the dance floor which is a shame when a really good tune comes on and you want to strut your stuff. Will go back again in the near future for another great night out.
