Eeeeeee! Cookies! The cookie monster reached the Trafford centre and guess what? She found exactly what she wanted! Warm, soft in the middle, cookies. And another thing — they didn’t crumble :) These cookies have a knack to melt on the Tongue and provide a chewy cookie dough sensation even though they are cooked to a perfect state of cookie delight. The only reason I refrain from giving this place 5 stars is because it is a teeny bit expensive unless you opt for one of the brilliant deals — which you will regret later when you discover you’ve eaten the entire bag! Go for the mini cookies deal! You won’t regret it!

When you’re stuck in the Arndale with your girlfriend going from Topshop to Monsoon to New Look and it seems like it’s never going to end, Millie’s Cookies can be a bit of a sanctuary. These little cookie shops appear to be everywhere and offer little cookie treats to distract you from the monotony of shopping. The cookies are small, but they offer good multi-buy deals that mean you can get a bag of double chocolate chip, toffee and white chocolate cookies(amongst many others) for not a lot of money. The cookies are soft and chewy which is the way I prefer them — I hate it when I buy supermarket cookies and they’ve been there for so long that they’re basically crunchy. Not how cookies should be in my book. Thankfully, Millie’s Cookies get it just right.

Cookies cookies cookies. I bloody love cookies. Yeah, cake is good and chocolate can hit the spot, but cookies are great. There’s always room for cookies, always time. Except in bed; nobody likes cookie crumbs in bed. Anyway, cookies are ace. By extension, I love MC, and I recognise and appreciate the hard work they’re doing, cookie-wise, for the busy shoppers of the Arndale. Sometimes you’re out shopping and you need a sugar hit. MC is the place to go. Not only do they sell a multitude of cookie-shaped wonders, they also sell muffins and smoothies and ice cream. And coffee, if you feel the need to dunk your cookie. Good for an on-the-go shopping pick-me-up. Of course, they also do takeout. I used to have a housemate who’d have bi-monthly breakups with her boyfriend. On these occasions, either I or Classy Friend would bring home a box of 12 of Millie’s best, and let her sob over Pretty Woman whilst crying into her glass of rose. She never touched the cookies, they were our little treat for listening to her bawling.(You may notice that this housemate doesn’t have a Something Friend monicker. This is why) As well as the weeee cookies, they also do biiiiig cookies, that you can have iced with a message of your choice. I personally like the idea of giving someone a massive cookie with the inscription«THISCOOKIEISNORMALSIZED. YOUARESHRINKING!!!» but it might scare them. Said massive cookies are about the size of a pizza, cost just over a tenner, and are a good alternative to cake for… erm…people who don’t like cake(they exist, I have met one once, and he didn’t like cake because it was ‘too claggy’. Weirdo) Anyway, cookies are great, massive cookies with writing on are also great. Ergo: Millie’s Cookies is pretty much… great!

Gotta love the Millie’s Cookies. I have a confession. I quite often bring Millie’s cookies into my work. One of my bosses asked whether I’d made them myself one day and I kinda told a tiny little lie and said yes. I feel quite bad now cos when I bring them in he goes on and on to everyone about how good they are and how I’m amazing at cooking… everyone else is in on it. I feel pretty bad but I don’t know how to tell him that they’re from Millies! Anyway, Millie’s, it’s good. Very good. White chocolate are my favourite but the banoffee ones are really good too. Try a milkshake made with ice cream too, amazing! 3 billion calories but meh, who’s counting! They also sell muffins and hot drinks too but why would you ever bother trying them when you’ve got cookies and milkshakes on offer?!

Mmm Millie’s cookies are delicious & this one doesn’t disappoint. Is expensive but nice as a treat & they always seem to have some good offers on. If you search around online you can often find printable vouchers that are well worth it. I’ve recently had BOGOF vouchers for treatboxes which saves you £6! The treat boxes are a good way of trying out the many different flavours of cookies they offer. They also sell muffins, smoothies & coffee if you want something a little more. Absolutely delicious cookies & worth it for a treat especially if you can find some vouchers.
