Miller and Carter is a stylish steak house that always puts the customer first. I have visited 3 times now and the staff are friendly, the food is sublime and the atmosphere is relaxing. What more can you ask for!

A birthday treat for my girlfriend, turned out to be a tear for us both. We both had t bone steak, which was literally hanging over the side of the plate. Cooked to perfection. Lovely food, in a warm welcoming environment. Even the waitress was lovely.

I’ve been to this restaurant few times now and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a perfect steak cooked as you wish! it comes served with chips(limited quantity but it was more than suficient for me given the size of the steak) oignon rings and half of a iceberg lettuce! I was suprised the 1st time but it’s nice to have something fresh when you are eating a big piece of meat! staff was also friendly! however i wouldnt recommend to go there on a busy night if you are in a hurry and need to eat quickly as they accept more customers than they can cope with so service can be very slow! they opened recently though so might get better…

Was OK. Had better. Had worse. Lunch and Early menu is quite a good deal with 2 courses from £10.50. You can have this Mon-Thur before 630pm and before 5pm Friday-Saturday. All the starters and desserts are £3. There are 4 different things which are £7. The most expensive is the Steak Frites at £9.95. I was told it tasted pretty good. I went for the rib eye. Medium rare but was more like medium I think — was a bit dry. :(It cost £19.95. On the slightly higher price scale when compared to other restaurants. BUT you get fries/sauce, iceberg wedge and onion loaf — so thats actually not too bad. Never heard of an iceberg wedge. Was a bit odd. Its basically a quarter of an iceberg lettuce and some sauce on top. So if you ate the top bit, all the sauce is gone and its just an iceberg lettuce. The onion loaf — I thought it was going to be some sort of bread but was basically a long onion bhaji. I downloaded a voucher from their web site which was for a free champagne. I didn’t fancy drinking so had a lemonade instead. It kind of tasted a bit watered down though — maybe too much ice? Also got the starter for free — got handed a voucher just before we walked into the restaurant. I had chicken wings. Initially I didn’t realise I could use the voucher so had to enquire a couple minutes after order was taken. I was a bit rushed — no ones fault. If had time, may have gone with the scallops instead. The chicken wings tasted good though. Was close to giving this a 2. Had better steaks in several different places and that iceberg wedge was just a bit«odd» and the lemonade tasting a bit«water-y». If I could, would give 2.5. Nothing to complain about the service and it had only been open a week so maybe needs a bit of time in «settle in».
