MD Conley is a very decent hair and beauty salon on Burton Road, offering haircuts, facials, tanning, waxing, skin treatments, make-​up and full body treatments. You’ll feel immediately at home when you walk in here, everyone is so friendly and talkative.
I haven’t had my hair cut, but I have a couple of friends who are regulars, always looking forward to their next visit because it feels so homely. I’ve come here for a wax myself. There’s such a personal touch: the treatment rooms could be hotel bedrooms, not clinical at all, which immediately puts you at ease. I’m sure if I came here for one of their facials or full body treatments they’d have to drag me off the bed afterwards!
As well as the staff being very professional and the environment very relaxing, the prices here are great too. Facials start at £18, manicures £12 and waxing £7.
