I don’t recommend going here unless you have no choice. Jump on a bus and go into town instead(or there’s always drinking at home). The DJ is stuck in the dark ages, there have been fights when I have been here and the door staff behave as though they are working for an exclusive club in London, but it’s as rough as nuts. I have no intention of returning.

used to like M19 a lot had poetry nights acoustic nights comedy brought something new to leve. seems that the majority of the locals werent that into it, favouring a karaōke and a punch up.

When M19 first opened no-one really knew what to make of it. A wine bar in Levenhsulme is a little unusual. Small and friendly with great staff and good service, it’s a great place to meet with friends for beer o’clock. Get there early to snag one of the comfy sofas. The DJ starts at around 8.00 and finishes at 1.00 at the weekends. The main bar, as you might expect, is on the ground floor. Upstairs is home to AcousticFest, which takes place every last Friday night of the month. A covered beer garden at the back, complete with TV screens and heaters, keeps the smokers happy. The bar stocks a range of wines, cocktails and shooters. My only small moan is that they don’t serve snacks. The bar is open from Thursday to Monday and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays for private functions. Enjoyed best straight after work or late at night on your way home from the city centre.
