This is my new favourite haunt. This place is only small, the size of my lounge at home but the food is amazing. Excellent pizza, pasta and tapas. did I mention the pizza. It was huge, enough for 4 people at least. I’m a lover of tapas and this place do some fab tapas including fried rice balls. I highly recommend a visit to this independent Italian. Fav place to eat with friends Remember to book in advance. Recommended!

On Tripadvisor this place has been consistently ranking high for in excess of a year in the top 10 of all 1360(listed) restaurants in Manchester. Not having quoted from TA before, but as of today(25÷01÷15) they are ranking 6th and the 5 above them do not include Italian restaurants, so therefore are Manchester’s top Italian restaurant. All that said upon arrival and entry you would wonder why! Then upon commencement of your courses you can easily see why. We had the special for £24.99 of 12 tapas dishes and a HUGE19“pizza which we were allowed to do half once topping and half another. 4 of us ate more than confortably(inc a Coke) for only £9 each. Our tapas that we chose were chicken wings, tomato rice balls, BBQ ribs, croquettes, meatballs and bruschetta. Then the huge pizza arrived which left your draw dropping! Pros — This place sure hits the spot for taste, value, quality and friendly staff. Even Bruno himself recalled seeing us one time before, which had to be around 9 months previously! Cons — book well in advance to avoid disappointment(although a good friend of mine just before Xmas called in whilst driving passed and got the last table… Alex B way to go dude!) and don’t be put off by the small bijoux tranquil surroundings! Go on give it a try! Well worth the drive, or the local tram stop called ‘Velopark’(immediately after ‘Etihad Campus’) which is about 3 mins walk away!

Wow. This place is blooming marvellous — all a bit on the smaller size of the restaurants scale. But as we all well know bigger does not always mean better ! This little haven serves up Quick, affordable, tasty real homemade Italian food ! We could easily fill a restaurant along with all our elites! For me and one other it was only £17.90 for two soft drinks 7 tapas and one 12″ pizza. Now that filled us up and as soon we had ordered the tapas was practically ready in front of us — we were in and out within the hour. We hadn’t booked but next time I will be doing ! There was a large group behind us and it had a real Italian buzz about the place ! They had TWO19″ pizzas(apparently my eyes followed it across the room! But wow I want to go back even more now ! Food was great quality and very flavoursome and yet simple just proving great quality. The owner says his flour is sent over from Italy by his brother along with other ingredients so it is truly authentic cuisine !! Only down side was that it was a little cold near the door. Go and try it !!
