GO Pizza, or GO Italy, depending on signage, is a mixed bag. It almost entirely depends on what you want to eat. I am an avowed fan of this little place, as the food is good quality, freshly prepared, and excellent value for money. It beats the pants off Subway for me, as the food is so much healthier, and the choice is almost as wide. I would heartily recommend eating a baguette from GO — they offer two sizes of bread, both of which are baked on site, and the range of fillings features everything from Tuna, to fresh peppers, salad and chorizo sausage. Unlike some of the other reviews here, I think that the pizzas at GO are unique, in that they are freshly made before your eyes. Additives be gone! GO is a breath of fresh air when compared to the likes of McDonalds, or Pizza Hut Express(who deep fry their pizza bases), and I would highly recommend it. 20% discount is awarded to students, and they serve unlimited refills of soft drinks, which is another definite bonus. I was saddened to see that the GO Italy in the Piccadilly Gardens complex had closed, as it was one of my favourite places for a quick lunch in the city. I hope that the GO in the Arndale centre does not similarly go the way of the dodo.

Go Pizza is very errmm, okaay! I would go there to have a pizza only if I’ve probably never tried it before and it would then be a realized mistake or if all the eating places in Arndale was shut and I was dying of hunger. Apart from the very silly name, which cracks me up everytime, the food is nothing great either. Buckle up ‘Go pizza’!

Do you really need me to not go to a place called GoPizza?! Do you really think you’re going to find some fine dining cuisine here? DON’T GOPIZZA.

Inane shop names are a real pet hate of mine. Ordinarily though, they just make me cringe, but when the store is selling something I’m going to eat then I get worried– do I really want an idiot of such Biblical proportions preparing my meals? You can’t ‘go’ pizza. A pizza is a circular piece of bread topped with tomato sauce, cheese and other very important and delicious pizza-related ingredients– this makes the word itself a noun and only a moron would attempt to go noun. Wise up Go Pizza or I’ll take you noun, I’ll take noun to Chinanoun.
