GL 14

City Centre gyms kind of leave a lot to be desired really, they all tend to be basic places with equipment and changing rooms, showers if you’re lucky.
GL14 is a bit different. They have a pool! A pool! They also have a spa too which you can go to even if you’re not a member, you can just buy a day pass.
It’s expensive, there’s a £35 joining fee and then expect to pay around £40. If you work in town it’s worth mentioning as they do cheaper rates for lots of different companies, mine is £34 a month. Not cheap at all, especially when you’re competing with The Gym at Piccadilly Gardens which is only £10 a month but if you want the little luxuries, GL14 is the place to go.
In a way it entices you to come to the gym more often because your treating yourself!
