A nice little frozen yogurt shop with a large topping selection and very tasty yogurt. Portions could be a bit larger(cups filled more, more toppings) for the price, otherwise would get 5 stars from me.

With 4 different flavours of frozen yoghurt per week, you will always find something you like here. Not the cheapest of places, however portion sizes are generous and there are a choice of 3 sizes available! Can add a a variety of toppings at 50p each, with everything from rasberries to caramel shortbread to chocolate brownies! Definately recommend you give this place a go — where else can you get peanut butter frozen yoghurt?!

It’s a frozen yoghurt shop! Simple as ! Great service, not the cheapest but still you do get a lot ! I had a half and half medium of peanut butter and cookies and cream(should have stuck to PB) it was divine ! They were short of the juice balls like you find in bubble tea ! Worth a trip and finish a a great meal out and cheaper than a restaurant pudding ! Probably healthier!

Frute is one of the best in Manchester. They have free wifi and 3 chairs outside, so great on those warn evening, plus a few chairs inside(very small unit). I had the tropical(fat free) yoghurt with strawberries. I was charged for a medium but got free upgrade to a large(first time I experienced this deal) for £4 so not that bad. They had 4 flavours today to choose from and always let you taste them all first. Peanut butter, key lime, tropical and original. The flavours change on a frequent basis as I have never any of those flavours here befor

What a great place to go for a healthy desert. Often they have 4 flavours on tap and allow you to taste them all before deciding which one you want! I have in the past had cookies n cream and raspberry to name but two. Today I had Key Lime and again amazing taste. The base price is not cheap nor are the toppings at 50p a pop! But balanced against health taste and variety only its gets a five starts. If you have tried others similar places and enjoyed, then try this one(or the Spinningfields store with shorter operating hours) and you will NOT be disappointed, in fact I would go as far to say you will be surprised and agree this one is superior to the rest!

Introduced to this place by fellow Unilocalers and close friends! After going to a few frozen yoghurt places in different cities I have to say that this one is definitely high in the rankings! Always a different selection to choose and they offer tasters as well. There’s a wide selection of toppings to choose from and a larger menu if you don’t want frozen yoghurt. The place itself is very minimal and has some high chairs with tables for sitting in. A must for anybody wanting some delicious frozen yoghurt!

The delights you will taste here are second to none! I can’t believe I don’t have a review for this place so far! It’s that good, there is also a place in Spinningfields!!! I first visited at a Unilocal event and I am SO glad I attended. We were given tiny little cups to sample the fro-yo. I was surprised it had such a taste to it. I expected the fro-yo to have less of a taste, more or a watered down ice-cream but I was very wrong. The green tea had a zing to make you want to keep eating more and the mango was sweet and mmmmmmmmmm… *dreams of Fruurt*. The owners who had just opened the business were so lovely and very helpful. They cared so much about their product. Rightly so! In fact, this experience was so good that even though we’d already sampled the two available fro-yo’s of the day, I REALLY wanted to try the toppings. We bought a tub each and 3 toppings. Fro-yo Fresh Fruit Jelly Cubes Nut sprinkles That is how a fro-yo is done! The only reason I didn’t give this place 5*‘s is because I had one bad experience with their customer service. After arriving back in Manchester from a game, heading home past Fruurt, I decided to wander in around 9pm to get a treat on the way home. The two guys behind the counter were both trying to serve one customer at once, bickering with each other, kept saying«what» to the customer and didn’t seem interested in speeding up the queue of 4 people in front of me. I finally got to the counter. One guy was serving the group of 3 people in front of me using the card machine whilst the other guy stood there leaning against the counter. I’d been waiting for 15 minutes. He looked at me and I smiled and he looked away again. At this point I walked out. These people didn’t care about customer service and didn’t have the same passion to help out a customer as I experienced from the owners on my first visit.

Missed the event held by Emma here last week, and then by accident walked past it on Sunday. So we popped in on the way back to the car. Before we went in we spent a good few minutes trying to pronounce the name of the place without sounding like we were saying ‘fruit’ like we were from Rochdale! Apparently between 12 and 5pm on a Sunday you get a free upgrade from small to large, so obviously we weren’t going to decline. We ordered a strawberry«frurt» with chocolate shavings. It was £3 and looked massive, two spoons please! The reason I say it looked massive was that they had very cleverly swirled the frurt into the cup leaving the inside hollow! Even so there was still plenty for us to share. It was tasty too, so I may be returning when I’m next in that neck of the woods :)

Very tasty stuff here at FFY. Generous portions friendly staff and sterile clean environment. Great choices too with a new flavour every month which we find out by following their facebook page. Natural, strawberry and green tea were the ones I sampled at the free Unilocal event today. Not to fond of the green tea one but hey whatever floats your fro-yo right? Oh toppings must have toppings white buttons yum! Visit this place after you have been on a good dinner or to the cornerhouse nearby great after night out dessert place.

Now *this* is more like it, Manchester. For eons I’ve been obsessed with fro-yo, lamenting the fact that I’d presumably have to hop on a Virgin Train to London to enjoy it freshly made, watching the supermarket freezer shelves like a hawk for the yogurt versions of Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food and Fudge Brownie. Want to know a secret? I actually prefer frozen yogurt to ice cream. It’s true. It cannot be touched in terms of light, delicious brilliance. So how excited was I when I saw the bright, inviting colours of Frurt on Whitworth Street West, just off Oxford Road round the corner from Cornerhouse? All kinds of. Shortly after spying that I joined my flat-hunting amigo in an estate agents’ office two Saturdays ago and picked up a copy of Urban Life to flick through. What did I see but a Frurt advert, noting their opening weekend at the end of July? Oh, now I was even happier. While I didn’t make it to their grand sample give-out due to weekend commitments, the hideously cloying weather had me making a beeline for their enticing, clean and fun-looking shop. I couldn’t resist. Instantly I was intrigued by the Fruit Parfait, which at £3.50 is one of the best value things on the menu(and they’re all great value, believe me). You get your generously scooped and whipped fro-yo, with a choice of four flavours — au naturel, chocolate, strawberry or green tea. As soon as the last one was mentioned I was decided. Then it’s topped with granola, a delightful drizzle of honey and your choice of two fruits — for me it had to be strawberry and mango. Off I wandered… and I stopped. I’m so silly for thinking I could eat this on the go. It demands your attention. You have to savour and enjoy it, and I found myself a peaceful spot of street and gave my treat the focus it deserved. And I didn’t want it to end. It was almost breakfasty with the granola, fruit and honey, and there are plentiful topping choices if you want to feel a little naughtier. Just know that the base fro-yo is stupendously healthy. Isn’t that just awesome? Going to a movie at the Cornerhouse? Grab yourself a cheeky takeaway treat beforehand. They’re open until 10pm each day and it’s our duty as independent business-loving Mancunians not to let them down. Frurt is one of those specialist places we sorely need in these parts, so let’s enjoy it!
