A French Connection is a French Connection. Don’t get me wrong, French Connections are great, but the location of this one does it no favours. It’s in the Trafford Centre, the Trafford Centre is hellish, end of story.
This French Connection has a good range of their stock, which consists of both more casual wear as well as what is probably best described as work wear. They always have great ranges of dresses which usually range from around £65 — £150.
French Connection is a great place to go if you’re on a lower budget but you want something special or a bit different. The clothes are always stylish and well made and I’d also argue that a lot of their more formal wear is timelessly stylish.

There’s a fab new section on French Connection’s website which allows you to mix and match items from their current collection. If you like what you see, you can order them online, collect them in store or send them to a friend.
The only obstacle Outfit Builder doesn’t take into account is whether or not the outfit you’ve chosen will fit or compliment your body shape! I popped into the smaller French Connection at Trafford Centre and was dismayed to find that neither the Bunny Sweater, skinny jeans or Brigadier Jacket fit me! The jeans fit my hips but were too loose around my waist, the sweater looked daft rather than cute and kitsch and the jacket was too wide for my narrow shoulders.
Suffice to say, I left French Connection feeling FCUKed off rather than elated!

It’s hard being objective and not too personal when writing these, and that’s how i feel about french connection i used to like it, now the shop annoys me and i find their range dull.
It’s probably just my taste that has changed, but I dont feel that french connection has that top class brand anymore, seeing as you can buy a lot of their clothes here there and everywhere, and the majority of which are just T shirts.
This store is minimalistic, and has lots on offer, but feels a little cold when you go in as it’s all a bit white looking. Overpriced t shirts, but having said that, some of the stuff i have bought from here in the past has out lived a lot of other stuff i have bought from other outlets!
