If you find yourself in Moston, you will probably feel that all is lost. However, the battle to avoid descending with the demon of noontide into a condition of melancholia is not over.
You can cheer yourself up with a Fish & Chips from Farrells! Honestly it really works. Not sure where the tradition of having fish on Fridays comes from but it sure does irritate me. Once a week just isn’t enough (perhaps it is for health reasons).
Anyway the fish here comes in gorgeous crispy batter, and the pieces are generously large. Chips are great too, perfectly walking the balance between soft and squidgy and crisp and crunchy.
Plus, a perfect fish to chip ratio, what more could one want?
