Popped in here last weekend with a few friends to grab a bite to eat! Nice varied choice on the menu with veggie and vegan options! Food was really tasty, big portions and not expensive! Ordered a falafel plate as a starter which was under a fiver, but as big as a main! Ended up sharing it with the group so id have room for my burger! The mixed sharing platter also looked amazing! This place feels very hipster, open mic and poetry evening on weekly!

An incredible Oasis in the middle of a sea of cheap student take-aways, buffets and pubs. A fantastic little music venue. A great terrace. The food is marvellous, the drinks range wide enough. It’s as if someone airlifted a bar from the northern quarter and dropped it in the middle of fallowfield for my convenience. Another amazing thing about this place is most non-students won’t venture here because it’s nicely tucked away, hidden behind the hullabaloo of wilmslow road. Others will probably be put off by its awkward location at the end of a road full of terraced student houses. But if you can look past the studenty atmosphere you’ll realise that actually a lot of the punters are either older students or local young professionals. I just love the décor and layout of the whole place. From the small intimate dining/café/bar area downstairs, to the live music bar and terrace upstairs. It’s a real hidden gem of fallowfield. I’ve been coming to live music nights here for a while and discovered Glass Tides(my favourite Manchester band) here. So the place holds a special place in my heart. Love it and so will you. So check out the website and see you on the wednesday open mic night in the near future :)
