This EE store is pretty cool, it is next to Topman and Vodafone in The Manchester Arndale.
I called in today just to pick up a power bar, and I sat down for 5 – 10 minutes to charge my phone, it is quite cool that to go alongside the power bar, you can just sit in store and charge your phone over their many chargers with cushioned seating. The staff didn’t seem to bother me as well. You don’t even have to be an EE customer (I’m with Tesco)
This store is probably one of the larger of the 4 stores in the Manchester Arndale, with the one in the Arndale/​Market Street beating this by a mile!
The staff seemed okay, they seemed to be quite slow when bringing me my power bar back, after deciding who it was who did it.
The store is quite empty, more phone demos could be nice and fill in the empty space, which honestly makes the place look like The Ritz Hotel of phone shops, they need to look more like a Nike store, with some empty space but still a cool store to go in and get demos (or try on nice clothes).
I am giving this store 2 stars, which I feel is a little unfair, but is more deserved than 2 star
Reasons for the low rating and how to improve:
— More demonstrations needed
— Staff MUST be faster providing services
— Better pricing is a MUST for contracts especially to compete with Tesco
— They NEED to print off price lists to take home, hence creating more custom rather than not bothering «because they change all the time»
— Staff need to show some more passion for this job.
— This EE store in a way is not needed as they is 4 in the whole Arndale, but it is a nice store and if they did shorten their numbers down, it is one of the stores that should be kept, along with the huge one in The Arndale/​On Market Street
