As some of my colleagues are smokers we’ll often sit outside under the patio heaters — which keep you toasty in the winter. Although not greatly situated at rush hour (being right next to the busy road) it’s just handy for being 2 seconds away from our office.
The biggest plus about this place is the price. Get there before 7pm and a bottle of red is £9.90 — planning on staying there after? Stock up! The ‘buy two glasses and get the bottle for free’ was one of the best things about this place. Accompanying our wine intake with £2.00 dipping chips has almost become religion before stumbling home and praying we have a minimal hangover…
Alas I have been in recently and the wine menu has changed which has picked our pockets! Hopefully the new menu will be titivated over the coming weeks so we have another deal like this on our corner otherwise this could see the end of Thirsty Thursdays!
