Carpet Splendour

I’m sure that when the gigantic CarpetRight opened up on Bury New Road back in the day, the owners of Carpet Splendour (what a fantastically random name, by the way) shuddered with fear. Yet they have stuck it out, providing a selection of carpets and laminate flooring for the people of Prestwich since that fateful day.
It does look a bit dated and most of the customers did appear to be grandparent types who wanted a variation on the maroon swirly pattern they’d chosen for the last six hundred years. But we got some good cheap stuff from here when we were redoing our bathroom floor.
They also have plenty of rugs which we found handy for sprucing up boring cheap Ikea furniture filled rooms. It really would have been just too much to buy the ten pound Ikea rug too — we are individuals you know…
