Pretty much a convenience store chain like CVS and Walgreens in the US. Have their own private brand of cosmetics. Used to shop in Boots when they had store in Tokyo that was later converted into Skechers.

Why is it that when you go through airport security they confiscate any make-up and toiletries from you that are over a certain volume including foundation and mascara?
Beats me too. Especially when there’s a Boots in the same terminal where you can go and buy the exact products again. Hate to sound like a skeptic but something doesn’t add up here, folks. There’s never anyone queing up to buy plasters or toothpaste in this Boots, it’s always ladies reluctantly forking out to replace their toiletries and make-up!
