Went here for my works Christmas do and had a great time but I’m glad I wasn’t paying for drinks or food because some of the prices are stupidly high. One of my friends got 2 Jäger-bombs, a vodka and coke and a pink of fosters and it was just short of £20. The food was typical, large plates and little food. What there was of food was quite nice but I still fancied getting something else to eat after we left. The staff were lovely and the place was very clean.

I like Mu MUs, It has a nice atmosphere and is a nice place to be. Its classy, the doormen are selective about who they let in. they serve some nice drinks and the bar staff are smart. The drinks can be expensive, and there sometimes can be a very pretentious atmosphere and air of snobbery.

I went to Mumu’s last night for a leaving do and had drinks in the lounge bar first which was a lovely modern bar with comfy sofas. We then moved to the restaurant next door for dinner and the food was lovely. The menu is not extensive but is mediterranean gourmet. As a vege there were only two options for me pizza or pasta, I had the pasta and it had to be the best pasta i’d ever had! It was just a shame I was too full for pudding!

I like Mumu’s a lot. The restaurant serves some interesting and tasty food, the bar is warm and welcoming, you can dance for free and the décor provides interesting conversation. It is the polar opposite of the Wetherspoons over the road. Possibly a little too far for the town centre crowd to walk, it manages to keep Maidstone’s undesirables at bay even with its late licence. Drinks are not cheap but they do make a decent mojito. I have never had a bad night out when Mumu’s has been involved.
