Millenium Park

This park in Maidstone was opened for the millennium and it is quite a good place to take the kids for a change.
It is located just outside Maidstone town centre but is in walk able distance
It has a really good play area with play equipment for children of all ages. It also has a large skate park but in my experience this is dominated by older teenagers and younger kids could be quite intimidated by this. That said the older children are quite entertaining to watch as they perform tricks on bikes and skateboards. In the holidays they run workshops there.
There are concerts there during the river festival in Maidstone.
