Waitrose

Standard waitrose fare. Slightly larger than some. Lots of parking with a two deck car park. Fairly good selection of fresh counter food. Staff were friendly and efficient on check out. Prices for brands will be marked up vs the cheapies but be selective of just the quality stuff you can get here.

This store is better run than the Windsor one and has been refurbished lately so is much brighter and user friendly than it used to be.
They have also added an upper deck to the car park which unlike Windsor is free!
I was very disappointed to find a packet of bacon on sale which was more than 2 weeks out of date though. I have also been overcharged here but unlike Tesco they don’t give you double the money back, only what you have been overcharged which is what they owe you anyway!
When I asked whether they had an overcharging policy like Tesco, a very snobby manager said to me in a very condesending voice I can assure you sir, we are nothing like Tesco.
Actually, you sell out of date food and overcharge people so you are exactly like Tesco I said in a very loud but polite voice!
