The coffee machine at Great Western Studios was broken — disaster! There is no way our mosaic class can survive an entire morning without a caffeine fix. Café Nour is the first coffee shop you come across when walking up the Harrow Road — or at least the first one open for business on a dreary November morning. And what a find! Coffees come in one size only at a standard £1.50 — what a bargain for excellent barista-style cappuccino but without the branded t-shirt or chainstore attitude. I was in a hurry to get back to my class and didn’t take my time to check out the food on offer, but the pastries on the counter looked very tempting. The café actually had a really nice feel to it and is more than your average sandwich bar — they obviously take pride in the products they serve.
