Opposite Waitrose this is a must for any artist whether professional or wannabe! Selling a range of artist materials including daler rowney, there is pretty much nothing which they don’t stock! If you are buying presents then the guy who runs it is very knowledgeable and keen to offer advice on what kind of thing may be suitable. They sell paper by the sheet as well as in pads, which can be handy if you are just after it for school projects! They also do framing at the back of the store, it is done quickly and the charge is obviously dependent on what type of wood/​mount you want, again they often advise if they think it would look better done differently! They also keep a record of local art courses so a good starting point if you’re interested in learning about art.
