This is the Sainsbury’s in town. Being near Bury Park it’s a tad difficult to drive to as the streets are narrow and often quite busy. The store itself is a typical medium sized Sainsbury’s. The staff have always been helpful, even when it is very busy. Not a great store for getting discounted food as it moves through the store too quickly, so if you like getting reduced finds go elsewhere. Has a good selection of Halaal and other international foods. Parking is generally quite easy to find and the majority of their trolleys actually seem to work! Also conveniently located next to a Lidl.

Hi, Sainsburys in Luton is the only big supermarket. It has quite big parking area which is being renovated at the moment for more convenience. There are so many check outs so there is no mounting queue. This particular store is large, a good size and the layout makes it easy to browse or find the snack items. The sections in store are very differentiating so it makes easier to shop even in hurry. There are also self scanning checkouts which is easy to escape during rush. It has got a good selection of its own bakery items. There is also a taxi park area so if we have very heavy shopping bags no need to wait for taxi. The shop also has got separate clothing and toys section. Cons The prices are bit higher than Tesco and Asda.

The store, when compared to Asda or Tesco was my least favorite choice for grocery shopping in Luton. The store itself was very old and had not been updated in a long time. It sits on Dunstable road at the entrance to Bury Park and has its own parking lot, but the prices are quite high, and the selection not as big as the competitors.
