I used to hate going here in the past as it always felt ‘dirty’ because of the lingering smell of smoke. Now it feels bright and welcoming. Very low admission charge, cheap food and drinks and even free bingo on occasions! A good alternative night out.

The club is situated in Lowestoft, just opposite the docks. They have evening and afternoon sessions, starting at 7.30pm and 2pm daily. You do have to be a member and there is a 70p entry fee in the evenings. You can apply to be a member on the door, and can sign in friends who don’t have a card. Parking is on the fishdocks, on Godfreys carpark(evenings only) and on the roads around the bingo hall. Compared to others I’ve been to, this is actually a really nice, well equipped, light place to play. They take part in link and national games and the prize money is good(£30-£300 for a full house on regular nights.) There is an early session, a main session and a late session, with various other games put in around them and a break in the middle(With party bingo to be played.) There is also a café which serves dinners for not much money at all. There are two bars-one upstairs and one down-which also has good prices. Some of the staff are friendly, some really are not, but it is an enjoyable night out with friends.
