«Orange Waitresses with fake tan to busy talking about who’s sleeping with who to bother to serve you.» has been written by two people so far. Maybe it is just me, but that has not been my experience. As a place to go and sit and read a paper while having a nice coffee, this is ideal. Some of the chairs are so comfy I could easily have a snooze. The food, however, is very overpriced.

‘Costa Coffee’ The only place in Lowestoft to have a decent cup of coffee, specialising in cappacinos the coffee bar is a hive of activity. Clean and very well furnished with leather sofa’s so one can relax with a coffee and one of there many cakes they have to offer. The staff are friendly, polite and always willing to help. There is seating outside so one can watch the world go by. Also there is a takeaway service. A Great place B

Located at the top of the high street, opposite McDonnalds, Costa is a fairly new coffee shop in the town. As well as drinks, they sell cakes, pastries, paninis, sandwiches and biscuits. It’s a really good place to stop for a quick lunch, and is often busy. There are tables, although these are pretty cramped, but there are two lovely sofas towards the back of the shop, which are great to sit on and enjoy a drink and chat with friends. The staff at Costa are friendly, and always have a smile on their face. The only problem I have with the place is the prices they charge: Around £4 for a panini, which I think is a little expensive.
