No longer a Budgens, this store is now a Co-​op, which in my opinion makes it much better. The selection and price of food is excellent for a small village store. They also bake rolls on the premises early in the morning-​so if you get there are the right time, you get fresh, hot bread! They also sell fresh cakes, with the bread at the front of the store.
There is a Post Office at the back of the store offering a variety of services.
Co-​op also give cash back with no minimum spend, although there is also a cash machine in the store, which charges for withdrawals.
