Ness View Cottage – Self Catering Rental

This delightful 19^th century Fife Cottage is a great place for a Scottish Getaway whether for a weekend or a longer stay.
It is the perfect example of a Tardis in that it is much, much bigger than it appears from the frontage.
As it is a listed building there would’ve been restrictions to what could be added. In keeping with this, the cottage has had a very clever first floor extension at the back which includes a full size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. So it’s very spacious and yet retains the cottage charm.
Downstairs is a lounge with an real open fireplace, a dining room that seats 6 comfortably, a bathroom (complete with tin bath) and shower and a kitchen with all the appliances you’ll need.
At the rear is a very large multi-​level garden which leads up to a huge Summer House, which has power and a balcony.
The cottage itself is the perfect location to either getaway from it all or, if you prefer, to use as a base from which to explore Scotland.
There’s easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and of course Fife & Beyond.
In the immediate vicinity there are some lovely woodland walks and coastal paths along the River Forth.
The local pub /​restaurant, The Red Lion in beautiful Culross is also magnificent. See my separate review. They do a great steak.
