Such a lovely little coffee shop, I fell in love with it immediately. It’s so refreshing to go into a place that is run by genuinely nice people. The shop is light and airy with huge windows cushy couches. I also like the toy area where my daughter could sit and play when she was fed up with sitting in a chair. My husband and I had egg and cheese sandwiches on granary bread and it was delish. And I couldn’t resist a piece of carrot cake and a hot chocolate piled high with fresh whipped cream.
The best part of all is that The Rusty Bucket offers a Suspended Coffee scheme. This means you can pay for a cup of coffee and the money is set aside. If someone can’t afford a cup of coffee they can come in and get one, no strings attached. Such a great way to do something nice for a stranger!

An all round great experience. The people here were so friendly that even ordering was fun! The environment is light, open and clean.
Delicious and interesting lunches were ordered. A Jacket Potatoe with homemade chickpea curry and a Brie & Cranberry granary bread Toastie. Oh go on then, we’ll have a side of chips. All washed down with a pot o’ Earl Grey.
