Good food, but a very crowded place. The pizza was as good as it gets outside of Italy.

I have been eating for many weeks at this restaurant wich is not too cheap. Anyway the quality of the food is high you can taste many kinds of pizza and pasta too.

Solid spot. The pizzas and salads are pretty good quality. Antipasto decent. Service adequate. Overall the value isn’t bad. The two of us had a starter(large antipasto), large salad, one of the rustico pizzas and some beer. All in that came to about 40 quid and we left very full. Not a fine dining restaurant, but a good place to have a nice meal.

Good pizza! Very spicy. I had the holy smokes calabrese rustica. Not super thin, but had a nice crisp to it. Service was efficient. Had enough pizza to take some home. Dinner for two(2 pizzas and 1 beer) was £32.55

Food was quick and very tasty. We had the bread and cheese to start(love the cheese) and then finished with the«Rustico» pizza. If I am ever back in this area, I would not hesitate to go back for more.

Stopped in for dinner before going for drinks. We started with the small calamari dish, be aware that when they say small it really is. This was however about the right size for two if you want to have more than one starter. We ordered a bread bowl as a second starter that is also what could be considered to be small. Both starters were good and flavorful, but maybe just not what I had expected. For my main dish I ordered the Rigatoni carbonara w/pancetta, wild mushrooms, thyme and parsley. This dish was the perfect size portion for a single person. The cream was mildly sweet and the wild mushrooms were a great treat. Overall this was great choice. For dessert I choose my all time favorite: the tiramisu and a latte. I have a habit of always choosing this when it is offered on the menu. Tonight was no exception, and was a very good choice! The cream layers were sweet and the cake was moist with a perfect dusting of chocolate. This was an outstanding end to a very good dinner.

i went there with my family as most of the other restaurants at notting hill gate were a bit touristy. this one looked very cosy and the rustica pizza was incredible. the pasta was pretty basic but i recommend this place for a nice pizza and glass of wine.

Two weeks in England sightseeing. Our last night in Blighty and we ended up in Notting Hill Gate. Not knowing where to eat, a simple look –in said Zizzi looked like a nice place but a little quite. Spoke too soon! The place filled up fast. And for good reason. The food and service are very good. Two types of pizza: thin crust and regular. I went for the regular. My spousal unit opted for the Petto di Pollo and loved it. A nice bottle of Primitivo — reasonably priced — and we were in the zone. A great way to end the England holiday. Added attraction: This Zizzi location is in a upscale /diplomatic residence neighborhood. Great people watching. Katherine and William, it’s reported, order take-out pizza here(although I’m sure Kate does not come over in her fluffy slippers). Should we return to London, we’ll come back. For the people watching and most of all — for the food.

I really enjoyed my experience at Zizzi’s. I went with two friends and we all loved the food and service was excellent. It was my first time visiting Zizzi’s, and I’m sure I will be back sometime soon.

Food was excellent and the service too. Raviolli was beautifully prepared as was our insalada di pollo. Both great. We sat near the open kitchen and watched our food being made. Conscientious chefs who took the time to make sure the food came out as ordered, and who, when the orders subsided, took advantage of their downtime by cleaning up. Always good to know you’re eating at a restaurant with a chef who cares about the cleanliness of his kitchen.

The food is good but we got absolutely horrible service. The waiter misheard our order so we got the wrong food. When we told him he started to argue but did agree to get us the correct portions. When were done eating getting the waiter to bring the bill was impossible so we went to the counter to pay. Lucky for us the manager was there and after we explained him he situation we got a decent compensation… Zizzi is a chain spread all over London so if you want to go here I would recommend another one than Notting Hill.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful but the food was disappointing and overpriced. I had a butternut and pancetta risotto that tasted like bland, gelatinous baby food with lumps of gristly bacon while my friend had a generously sized but not very exciting pizza. You’d think from the descriptions on the menu that the people behind Zizzi really know and care about food but this isn’t obvious from what arrives on your plate. At almost £50 for two(one starter, two mains, two ice creams, two coffees and one glass of wine, a replacement for one that was undrinkable) without service, I thought I could have done much better at any number of nearby alternatives. It’s a shame, as the room is nice and spacious and the view of the open fire in the kitchen is fun. With a bit more attention to detail and better ingredients I would have been glad to recommend it to my friends.

Staying up the street, this was a handy stop. When I entered about 1800, the place only had a few customers so service was fast. I really liked the Rigatoni and with a carafe of red, an excellent meal. The server was very generous with the Parmesan Cheese which is the style I like. For dessert, I added a dip of lemon gelato but got raspberry in error. Quickly remedied and it was very good. If I am near a Zizzi again, i would stop for a dinner meal. I did note they have Gluten Free Pizza which would be great for my daughter who had Celiac Disease.

Zizzi in Notting Hill is a good one, so is the one in Chiswick. They do vary a bit. Notting Hill’s staff are lovely and friendly and we were even given two glasses of Prosecco on the house to celebrate a birthday! That is rare these days! The food is usually good at this Zizzi except for one time when my friend had quite a dry and tough pizza. Other than that it can get a bit loud, but the atmosphere is really buzzy. Good for a group of friends.

Another special offer in our quest to make the most of the various credit crunch deals available at the moment. I think this could easily become my favourite pizza chain(even though they sell a lot more than pizza). This time we had a voucher which promised a second pizza for 99p if you bought one at full price — excellent value! Having walked past this place so many times on the way to Hyde Park, the pizzas were so good we will definitely return at full price. Once you are inside you actually forget the traffic booming past, the décor is a lot more stylish than other pizza places and the staff very friendly, too. I don’t know why but I was disappointed to find out that Zizzi is part of the ASK chain — no paper table cloths or crayons in sight. Perhaps this is ASK without the children?

The Zizzi restaurant has evolved over the last few years to put a kind of Monopoly, a stranglehold on Italian Cuisine up and down the country. When I grew up a new restaurant opened in our local town and, like me, came to London a few years later and set up roots there. This is one of just 25 of these restaurants in London and they have a respectable reputation of good service, clean restaurants and good food. I personally however find much of their food to be a little bit bland and not worth what I pay for it. A Carbonara isn’t quite as scrumptious as I would expect it to be, and the portion size definitely isn’t big enough. ‘Less is more’? Perhaps, but not in my eyes. A decent place none the less, is the Notting Hill branch, better definitely then one of the other ones I’ve been too. think it was Central…

Located on the corner of Clanricarde Gardens and Notting Hill High Street, this is one of the best Zizzis I have ever dined in. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. If you make special requests for your food(i.e. no mushrooms) they happily assist. I love the brushetta genovese and really recommend it, there’s nothing like the lovely chicken in pesto on lightly toasted bread. Also the chicken rissotto is nice, and the lasagne’s not too bad either. Sure, c.£9 for a dish can be a burden on your wallet, but if you dine here on a day when special offers such as 2for1 meals is on, it really is a hell of a bargain.

The customer service here often stands out in my mind. As soon as you enter the door you are seated quickly, and your order taken quickly as well. The quality of the food is really good. I have tried their pizzas, pastas and Calzones, and I can recommend many of the meals. The Calzone is particularly good here. They also make very good coffees here, especially the large capuccinos. Further, the design of the restaurant is very stylish and comfortable. In the evening, the lights are dimmed, and its a nice place to eat out with your partner, or close friends, with a few drinks. With every meal costing around £8, it is a reasonable place to eat, compared to other Italian restaurants, but out of the big Italian restaurants, I believe Zizzi is the best in this price range.

Zizzi’s Notting Hill is no different to any other Zizzi’s in London. You know you are going to get a good pizza or pasta for a good price with a decent service. This branch is rather large, so ideal for birthdays or large get togethers and the staff are extremely helpful, smiley and efficient.
