Really friendly service, but found it odd that they wouldn’t let the two of us take a table for 4 despite it being 1.30pm and only 3 other tables were taken. Also, good thing we didn’t order more than we did(big antipasti platter and a pizza, plus a big bottle of water all to share), as we wouldn’t have had enough space! The food was alright: the antipasti was a fair size to share between two and the pizza deliciously fresh(especially as it was topped with some raw ingredients) but the base was covered in an awful lot of semolina(not sure whether that’s how Zizzi tend to do their pizzas or if it’s a skinny pizza thing). Skinny pizzas are tiny, btw. So I ordered a portion of arancini to round off my meal, while my friend had a ‘chocolate melt’. She tried my arancini and thought the risotto should’ve been a little more cooked. Whereas, I liked the texture, but it was too peppery for my taste, though the salsa did make a nice complement. All in all, not a bad dining experience — the waiter was friendly, food fresh and quite delicious. But the portion sizes were disappointing.

We’re here for the second time and I love the fact that they’re very friendly to people with special needs in food(lactofree, gluten free etc…)

Okay, I understand that it was a weeknight and they may have not expected the high amount of traffic, but two waiters wasn’t enough tonight. My drink came right away, but it took me nearly an hour to get a small pasta dish, and another twenty minutes later to get the check. The food was alright for what it cost, but the service was terrible. Hire more waitstaff, please.

We were at the Finchley road O2 branch and not only did the kitchen served us a calzone with raw dough, when we commented on this the chef told us «you don’t have to eat that part of the calzone» and«I can put it back in the oven and burn the rest of the filling». He also refused to admit that it was raw dough and then yelled at us «what do you want?». With this kind of shocking service we are never coming back again.

Set on the food level of the o2 centre, you get an open dining area. Popular with the single diner, food is served fast and full of flavour. Nice to see the big oven and chefs at work too. £13-£18 per head for main and drink. Worthy place for a quick Italian.

After a walk in the evening sun to the O2 Centre to buy some food at Sainsbury’s, I decided to stop at Zizzi for dinner. It’s right, this restaurant does not have to much atmosphere, but to be fair: what kind of atmosphere can you expect in a shopping centre? Right But I really like the open kitchen and also the colours and everything. Since I tried Arancini at Princi, I think I should go for that more often, so I ordered Arancini and a tomato and pesto pizza bread. I’m not a big fan of green beans, but as I knew from the menu, that there are green beans inside of the Arancini, I knew what I ordered. And still, I really liked it. The bread was also very tasty, and really a lot! I am not sure any more, I think I ordered a white wine and got a red wine, but however: the wine I got was good, so no need to complain about that. :) All in all a nice Italian restaurant with good food, friendly staff and tasty wine. I guess that’s more than many other restaurants have to offer, although they might have more atmosphere ;)

Great atmosphere and tasty food on the second floor of the O2 Centre. This Zizzi has all the great pizza, pasta, insalata and other Italian dishes that you will find at any Zizzi. On each of the occasions we have dined the service has been good and the atmosphere welcoming. Tip for those dining with young kids: sit near the pizza oven and you can watch the pizzas being made. Kiddo friendly: — children’s menu with some really good«real food» choices — plenty of high chairs — clean baby change cubicle

Ate here last night with a friend as a pre-movie basic dinner. We were pleasently surprised by this outpost of the chain. The restaurant itself doesn’t have a huge amnount of atmosphere, but has a relaxed and airy vibe, with an open kitchen. Style is modern, with wooden tables and cool light fittings, all in chocolate browns and warm greys. Service was promt and pleasant. We chose from a deal they were doing £10.00 for 2 courses — reallt reasonable as our starters of calamari and antipasti were £4.95 each and the mains of rustica pizzas were £11.00 each. Bargain! The rustica is a new style of pizza for Zizzi, a large super thin wood-fired base served on a along wooden board. Really yummy — go for the Primavera and skip the Mare e Monti(not enough prawns to justify time to eat it!). A good experience, friendly, not too busy of an evening, and not too loud!
