Wow! I have eaten in many Indian restos in London and in India, this is one of the best, maybe the best i have had in London. From the fresh, light, sweet mango & pomegranate salad to the tangy, perfectly spiced Baati Ghost(lamb stew) and the flavorful, again pefectly spiced Aloo Ghobi(cauliflower) and slightly crisp, but still very good garlic naan, all was presented well and, most importantly, tasted like a dream! Topped it all off with a Bread pudding thingy with cardamom vanilla ice cream. Cardamom has been my fave dessert spice for a long time and goes in my eggnog, hot chocolate, rum drinks, you name it. Zayna has made it on the go-to list for London Indian food cravings, which happens often thankfully!

Good Pakistani restaurant near Marble Arch. Meat and vegetarian menu available. Tried with a group of friends, the service was good and they suggested us very well! We share a lot of different meats and other plates. Very nice atmosphere, medium prices

Great Indian and fantastic service. The mango lassi was very smooth and a great way to start the meal. had three dishes: Mukhun Murgh, Jheenga Baati and the Beef Karahi. All dishes were cooked perfectly and the owner engaged in healthy conversation with the guests throughout the meal. Well worth visiting if you’re in the area looking for a great meal and prompt service.

Long wait decent food but overpriced for the quality. The cost for the 4 of us was 120 pounds I would expect better food and service for those prices. There were 2 groups who were seated after us and they both ate before us. Nice environment if my bill was 30 percent lower and service 40 percent faster id give it five stars.

So tasty! We came here on a rainy Saturday for lunch, mostly due to proximity to our destination, but this could be a destination in itself. The server was opinionated about what was good and what wasn’t(we did ask) and helped us select a fantastic combination of dishes. We weren’t starving, so ordered two curries and one rice as we figured that would be enough. Took our first bites and immediately ordered some naan as well. Not due to hunger, but just because we knew we’d want to mop up every last drop of sauce we could. It’s not cheap, but for us it was totally worth it!

Underwhelming and rather empty at 6pm on a Monday. Came in for dinner alone, and only one other couple in the front of the restaurant and the chef in the back working on his Mac. The food was ok, but nothing breathtaking(had the til mil jheenga — two fried shrimp with a rather basic hot sauce; mukhun murgh — their version of chicken tikka masala, naan and basmati rice). Try something else if you want extraordinary.

Great meal here upon arriving in London. We were late and they were kind enough to accomodate us without a reservation despite being busy. We enjoyed the meal very much and especially the curries, all of which were really well made. Nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary, we mostly had the standards which were all well done. Very pleasant evening and good, solid Indian/Pakistani food in the Marylebone area.

So so good! It was so good we went back twice. The first night, they were closing so we had to order quickly but the prawns in the tomato based sauce was so good we had to go back again. The servers were friendly and kept up with drinks and water. The food was so delicious that I wish it was in the States so I could go again. I felt that the prices were pretty reasonable because the portions were generous. A little out of the way but seems very popular since the tables seemed packed even late at night. I also liked that it was open on Sunday whereas many restaurants in London seemed to be closed. We had the prawns(the best) as well as the lentils and the Chana. All were good. The garlic naan had a good amount of garlic on it and the rice portion was generous.

Great curries. The lamb dishes are the way to go. We sampled a few dishes and all were excellent. We can’t get Indian food like this where I live. Are here twice while in London. Tiny restaurant so make a reservation.

On a whirlwind trip to London, we just had to fit in an Indian meal to our crazy itinerary. Top rated Amaya doesn’t allow children(apparently even foodie tweeners who are globe trotters), so BOO. We decided to try Zayna. Wow. Fantastic meal. The Batti Gosht was spicy and lemony in all the right ways. The lamb pieces were juicy and tender. We also ate the Makhun Murgh. Perfect. You can always tell the quality of an Indian restaurant by their naan. What can I say – fluffy, tasty, hot, fresh. We arrived late… Minutes before last orders but never felt rushed. Hard working and earnest owner was a plus.

Really nice, and oh so flavorful we came for lunch and it was empty. From reviews is assume dinner is more popular. The lamb is the way to go.

Every single dish here was phenomenal — and we had about 10 of them between the three of us. Most of them packed a pretty good punch in terms of spiciness, but not too much. Was my favorite meal of my weeklong trip

Very close to my hotel so I made my way there with a friend one night for dinner. Very good Indian food. Good, but not excellent — maybe missing a little something but I’m not sure what. Service was okay, maybe a bit awkward. A few items were brought to table warm instead of hot. I need hot food people! Ambiance is very casual and the prices just don’t match the ambiance. Would return for lunch and/or order on the cheap side.

My wife and I made reservations for 8:00PM on a Sunday night, and we arrived promptly after a full day touring Windsor Castle, City of Bath, and Stonehenge… so we were a bit famished. We chose this restaurant mainly for its close proximity to our hotel… and after consulting Trip Advisor. The restaurant didn’t seem to have any empty seats(it is not a big place but there seemed to be additional tables downstairs close to the wash rooms) when we got there, aside from our reserved table. We were seated immediately and shown the menu. I opted for Ishtu(the house specialty), and my wife chose Murgh Chatkhara, accompanied by garlic naan and white basmati rice. The main dishes were all good and flavorful… the naan was just OK. While the food garnered high marks as well as the attentive service, I don’t feel the value is there. In a city replete with Indian(or Pakistani) restaurants, I felt there are other restaurants with food just as good as Zayna for a fraction of what you would pay in this restaurant.

Amazing meal and amazing service! This experience will be tough to beat. We ordered the Papdi Chanaa Chaat, Dal Makhani, Ishtu, and Garlic Naan. Food and flavors were delicious… the Papdi Chanaa Chaat was so simple yet so good. The prices are very fair and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We had a great conversation with the manager and owner during our meal. If we lived in London this would be our favorite neighborhood place!

I was in the city on business from the states. I found Zayna on Unilocal and couldn’t have been more pleased. The restaurant is beautifully put together, and the staff welcoming and helpful. And as for the food; let’s just say they get it. I tried the Papdi Chanaa Chaat at the server’s recommendation and you could taste each component, and the pomegranate added a lovely bit of tart, and the crisps some great texture. Had the Baati ghosht, the lamb was so moist, no fat, and the spices mixed perfectly, a little spice and nothing overwhelmed. Am heading back next time I’m in town.

Wonderful and amazing dinning experience. I’ve had Pakistani and North Indian Cuisine from San Francisco to New York City and this tops them all… absolutely WONDERFUL, from the delicious amazing food, outstanding wine list to the superior service, I highly recommend this place. First off I love Pakistani — Northern Indian Food, the spices, the flavors, Zayna hits the ball out of the ball park. Just the right amount of hot and spicy where you can enjoy the flavors of your wonderful meal. I had the following, all were amazingly delicious!!! 5 stars! (from the grill) Kastoori Tikka(YUMMM) (from the pan) Baati Ghosht(YUMMM) (on the side) Chickpeas rice with pilau and garlic naan Dessert — Falooda Staff was attentive, helpful and friendly! Can’t wait to go back!
