I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about, maybe things have since improved. The guy who owns this used to run one of the other kebab places in Archway (Planet kebab) before selling it and it going downhill! The food was up there with the best of them.

It’s a late night, you exit Archway tube station, and Zara kebabs sign pops at you from riiiight across the street.
Well, I hate to say it (as what can possibly go wrong with a kebab, right?), but next time I’d rather spare the couple of extra steps along Junction Road (where there are at least two more kebab places), and pass this one.
The basic doner kebab is cheaper than the others nearby — it’s £4.50. But I guess you get what you pay for. It just wasn’t right — the consistency, the seasoning, it wasn’t very pleasant even to our rather non-​critical tipsy palettes.
The shopkeeper is nice enough, but as I say — Archway is home to some yummy kebabs, and in my opinion (times 3 of my friends), this is sadly not one of them.
