Being fun it is accessible and the gimmicks and gadgets are good fun. However when all is said and done the sushi is mediocre. The normal price they charge for sushi, means the slightly anemic portions you get in return are dissapointing. Yo sushi used to do larger portion sizes, so evidently the cost cutters have been at work here. The staff working there are friendly and helpful, so it is nice to know the company will be finding them jobs in other stores, because the above is not their fault. As a result the place is quite empty and apprently this store will be closing in March.

My son and I had dinner here, as we happened past it on the way to our hotel near Camden Lock. They have an interesting«conveyor belt» that different colored dishes with food items circulate on. My son loves this kind of thing, as we went to a similar one in San Francisco… The items we picked up of the belt were pretty good, and the things we ordered from the menu were served hot and quickly delivered. Service was very good, and the guys working there very helpful with local knowledge of the Camden area. Reccomended.

Sometimes I’m an idiot and my friends and I are wandering around Londontown with low blood sugars and FEELINGKA-RAAAY-ZEE and, hey, you know what saves? The ability to swag into Yo! Sushi and literally start grabbing things off the conveyor belt. I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow the novelty of pulling warm salt-topped edamame off a moving belt that chugs right past my booth. When I was a student I’d come here a lot; I’d get the bottomless bowl of miso and some basic cucumber or avocado maki bulked up with lots of pickled ginger. Not a bad deal for something warm and tasty(I’m an unabashed fan of their miso). Now that I can step my budgetary game a little, though, I’ve gone beyond prepared options and tried ordering from the menu. Ramens are the new push at Yo! Sushi, but my tastiest recent discovery is the salmon skin handroll. It qualifies as one of the«cheap» plates, but is really generous in size and has an amazing mix of «stuff»(not precise; apologies) tucked into the cone of nori. Unilocal note: the staff has always been _amazing_at all locations I’ve been to. Patient with time, great with recommendations, really attentive, awesome-all-’round. Don’t know if it’s my dumb luck or just some great behind-the-scenes hiring policies at Yo! Sushi. Either way, I love my sashimi with a side of charming staff.

I’m always here! What can I say(or write)? The food is excellent as ever and I’ll confess I DO like being able to drag stuff off the conveyer.

i’ve been on a self imposed yo sushi ban. london has so much to offer, it feels like i am being a bit rude by eating at yo sushi. it is my guilty pleasure, however, so every once in a while, it will draw me back. went to a gig in camden last night, and decided to come here for the last of the blue thursdays in april before hand. if you don’t know, blue thursdays(more commonly blue mondays) is where every dish on the belt is £2.40. to be honest, still not THAT good value, but certainly more reasonable than yo sushi normally is! the food here was actually pretty fresh and the hot dishes were being cooked to order and not left to stagnate/cool on the belt. the wait staff were very friendly and polite, however, they were obviously in a bit of an office politics war with the kitchen guys. on several occasions i heard the kitchen boys bitching about the fact the serving girls were standing around chatting, doing nothing(to be fair, they were — most people that came in had to be acknowledged by the guys in the kitchen). i love a good gossip and i am the world’s most attentive people watcher, so this bit of drama was enjoyable for me, but i think for most people, it’s not really what they would want to hear when they come out for dinner. i can’t imagine it makes for a very pleasant atmosphere to work in either. office politics aside, i would return here when in the area and when i need to satisfy my dirty yo sushi habit.
