This is such a relaxing bookshop, it’s a funny size being not tiny like the other Waterstone’s and little Foyles I can think of but certainly not massive. It’s like when you find that perfect size supermarket though, not too big and not too small, so it has a great selection but isnt bewilderingly huge to walk around. The layout of the store is really well setup so it’s easy to drift in and browse, and the staff are very friendly. They also have a couple of stands of greetings cards of various artistic designs. If you like being around real books it’s worth popping into if you’re wandering by…

We visited this store seven days ago and it’s nicely laid-out. In particular, the children’s books and fiction sections are quite good. Also, the guy at the cash register was pleasant.

Yet another Waterstone’s, this one perhaps medium in size, with a great selection of Children’s books along with all of the other usual stuff. Great place to stop and browse after Gymboree, but watch out for late afternoon when it gets swamped with parent/carers and younger kids. I’m all for encouraging a love of books in our children, but not when the place becomes a busy library rather than a shop for nice new books. This particular shop also lacks a decent magazine selection, lucky Sainsbury’s in downstairs and there is a WHSmith down Finchley Road towards Swiss Cottage tube.
