This is a place that if I had reviewed a few months ago I would have given it 4 stars(and the only reason why I wouldn’t have given it 5 would have been that it is too pricey £250 for a cut and half-head of highlights). However, after my experience last week, I would give it 0 stars if I could. I loved going to this place. I felt I was treated like royalty(especially if it was a weekday morning, when it was quiet), and more importantly, Harry was a great stylist. He did the best haircut I can remember on me. It was just a bob(not that it is easy to cut, but a common style nowadays), but he studied the angles with an artist’s precision so that the end result would be perfect, and it was. Then Matt also did nice highlights, prior to the cut. And in between, Amber would wash your hair nicely too. Plus you would have nice conversations with them all, not the typical sh*te other hairdressers talk about all the time. But last week I got none of this. In fact, I got nothing! And why was this? Because they were closed! And yes, I had an appointment! Not only that, when I enquired in a nearby shop, as I was getting tired of waiting outside a closed shop under the rain, they explained that they had been closed for a week or so and that I was the 4th woman asking about it. All of them had had appointments too. Would it have been so difficult to have cancelled my appointment so that I didn’t take time off work, spend time travelling, organise my diary around this appoinment, etc, on the day before I was going on holiday?! Unprofessional and unforgivable.
