I usually like Wagamamas as a chain but I have been in here twice and both times I have been disappointed. All the food has tasted the same — flavorless! I wouldn’t recommend this branch at all.

The service here is always spot on, but the food in this branch tends to disappoint. Tonight I went in at about 10.45, and I ordered a tap water and a green tea. The tap water brought to me was warm — and I don’t mean room temperature warm, I mean microwave level warm. I asked for a new one that had ice in it or was at least room temperature, and it took them about 10 minutes to bring this.(To be fair, that was my only complaint on the service tonight.) To eat, I ordered the edamame with garlic and chill salt and the ginger chicken udon. The edamame was adequate, but the udon was terrible. It was cold on the outside and very hot on the inside(tell tale sign of microwaving), and the portion was miniscule. The chicken was rubbery and chewy, and tasted as though it had been sitting out all day. I know it was the end of the day, but that’s no excuse to serve old, rubbery, microwaved food. If you’re going to stay open until 11, then serve good food too! Also a further NB is that I wish they did delivery at this branch!

Wagamama you totally failed me! I can’t believe this happened, but how can you serve me soup that lacked flavor. Seriously, everyone in my party tasted it and wanted to spit it out. I’ve never had a bad meal from this place until now. The chili chicken ramen tasted like it was served in hot salty water broth! :(
