Deswegen Empfehlung meinerseits.

Great and plentiful Asian fusion cuisine located right off the Victoria Embankment Pier beside the Tower of London. Two teenage boys left very full after a late lunch. Lunch for 3 ran about 52 pounds so a bit on the pricey side, but filling. Staff were helpful.

A decent meal for ten pounds. The chicken danburi bowl was very good, but extremely salty and overdosed in sugary sauce. The flavor was a bit strong because of this. Not sure I’d go back, but it was good in a pinch.

After the third(and worst) experience with take out from this location over the last two months, we are not ordering again. None of the three times we ordered actually were prepared as specified — extra sauce, not hot, etc and each time we had one entirely inedible entrée out of three. The food was overcooked, meats were very dry and again, nothing was prepared as ordered. On the last go, the meal specified as «for a kid» came with copious amounts of chili pepper. She could not eat more than one bite and we ended up going to Pret for a sandwich instead. The menu looks great, but the experience does not live up to the visual.
Nice chic atmosphere but ramen was mediocre. Overcooked noodles with watery broth. Disappointed. Too bad because their restaurants are everywhere. I would keep looking.

Phở soup was extremely salty but bland at the same time, even adding 2 sides of kimchi(up charge for each) into the soup. I’m not sure how they accomplished this feat… but they did. Definitely not an authentic experience in the Phở department which is what i was looking for on the dreary day i stopped in on. Not terrible when in a pinch but this would definitely not be a destination for me. Two stars for the green juice which was pretty good and the half decent service.

A v handy place for lunch after visiting the Tower of London or, like me and partner, were just strolling around on a Shaun the Sheep sculpture trail. The ginger chicken udon is my go to option. I went for edamame(can’t not) and pad Thai on this occasion(tip; you can choose which noodles you have! Udon is blates the best). Boyfriend had the beef chilli ramen(v hot but a bit samey after a while, but I guess that’s ramen really). All the deserts are just heaven… The staff were v bright and cheery and the restaurant was clean and spacious. There were lots of lone diners too, which is a cool sight to see — I always wondered when solo dining would become big in the UK!

Was very excited to come. Great décor. Excellent service and atmosphere. They were very interested in making sure the food was right. But need to spend some time with real ramen artisans to bring food up to snuff to match atmosphere and service.

I travel to London a fair amount for work, and Wagamama is my go to spot. It’s great for take out, or to eat in. If you are traveling alone, the setup does not make you feel awkward at all about dining as a party of one. The food is reliable, consistent. The prices are fair, the service is quick and friendly, and the location is extremely convenient to both the insurance district and Tower of London.

I tried this twice, no more. Fusion restaurants are always a gamble, especially when it is a style from the far side of the earth. Their combinations just don’t taste any good.

If you’re visiting the Tower of London and need a quick lunch, this place is perfect, especially if it is cold or rainy. I got the chilli ramen with beefsteak– delicious, fresh, very filling, warm, and just the right amount of spicy. The portion is huge too. The servers are very friendly and quick and the view of the tower and bridge is great. The seating is kind of like a cafeteria but very clean and modern, and the staff was very nice and accommodating when we requested to sit on the far side for a bit more quiet. Loved it for our quick stay in London in between sightseeing!

If you are looking to grab lunch after the British Museum-lets face it looking at relics and mummies for hours can leave one famished– the original Wagamama is a great lunch option. They have a nice selection a Asian fusion cuisine that is tasty and reasonably priced by London standards! The restaurant is downstairs so don’t worry if it feels like you are walking through a door to nowhere under the sign! We also tried the location by the Tower of London– apparently stories of treason and royal intrigue make me just as hungry as the mummies– this one is in a big modern building above the ticket office with big windows an nice view. Both have cafeteria seating which makes it really good for large groups. I was first introduced in ’06 by my professors who take their study abroad kids here every trip, and they must be doing something right because the chain has spread all over the city!

We had just finished a long day of site seeing, which finished at the Tower of London and found this place very closeby. It’s a chain that we also have here in the states, although I had never been. You have a waiter, but it’s mostly a quick service vibe(paper on the table that they write your order on, etc). We started with edamame and pork gyoza(dumplings) — both very good, although the 4 of us could have done with 2 orders of dumplings. My children(12&15) got the chicken teriyaki, I got the pad Thai with shrimp, and my husband got the chicken ramen(which was huge but lovely with nice greens). The price was reasonable for London, and the service was great. I had a small chip in the bottom my glass, and the entire thing was replaced right away even though I had drunk most of my beer. I would go again.

Walked in and the place was not filled up even though it was a little after lunch hour. I sat down with my family and ordered tea(because it was free and being from the US £2 for a drink was steep) and I wish I paid for a soda. The tea tasted like fish and salt… I kid you not… I got my yaki soba and I wasn’t expecting anything mind blowing but come on! For all the relishes and protein in this dish it tasted bland. There were hints of ginger here and there but it wasn’t special and even good really. My fam ordered the chicken ramen and teriyaki chicken and they said theirs was okay. I didn’t try anything else so I perhaps I just had the least popular item. The prices were good. That much I can say.

I had a friend from the US rave about this place and how I had to try it when she heard I was heading to the UK. Perhaps it was because I live in california and have a large variety of Asian food available, but this was no better than a local phở place. It is similar to marachuan Ramen(ya know the cheap stove top stuff) but with even less flavor. I got the wagamama and I had to douse it in soy sauce and ask for some spicy pork sauce to give it some flavor. But then it just tasted like soy sauce. I still gave it 3 stars because the service was attentive and friendly.

Friendly staff and a airy layout make this place one of the better Wagamama’s I’ve ever been in. Of course it’s the same menu that all the other chain venues offer, but that’s no bad thing, and I’m happy to say that everything I ordered was delivered hot and as tasty as any of their restaurants I’ve ever been to — which actually hasn’t always been the case with all their restaurants. The food was good, the venue was better.

it was Monday night and we were in the mood for some winter warming soup. We ordered : * Chilli Ramen with Beef — Beef was inedible and tasted very metallic and bitter, bland broth * Wagamama Ramen — under cooked prawns, burnt chicken, overcooked noodles, bland broth We asked for the cheque and left without eating our food. i’ve eaten in some good wagamama’s before, but this is not one of them… They suggested we could have told them we were unhappy and we could have ordered another dish. The issue is that when the original dishes were so bad… who wants to order more food from the same kitchen?

It was the first time that we visited London. It really is a great city. We should have come earlier. Anyway since we were in London we wanted to try the famous Wagamama place that our friends were talking about in Germany. I have to say it was very good! The place was very clean, the food was delivered quickly and tasted beautiful! thumbs up

Wagamama is a chain of «Asian» style restaurants in Western Europe with about 20+ locations in and around London. So, I’m thinking to myself… if my Hawaii based Asian wife and Hapa daughter are craving noodles and rice while we are a long way away from home… then this place might be worth its weight in gold. Well they never did have an panic attack inspite of the fact that none of the local London restaurants appeared to have an institutional size rice cooker out in plain view of the dining room. But, one day, we just happened to be near one of these places and I suggested that we ought to try it out just to see what it was like. Two miso ramens and one chicken curry katsu later we had warm stomachs and a better idea of what Wagamama was all about. There must be an asian person involved in creating the menus and recipes for the corporation. From what I could tell there is probably about one asian person per square mile in this area of London. And that person did not work at Wagamama. We don’t do fish and chips very well here on Oahu. Wagamama doesn’t do ramen justice. Seriously mediocre ramen. Little bit better chicken katsu. Better yakisoba. Better to avoid the ramen unless you just have to have a noodle fix. The place itself is nice with modern décor, cafeteria style seating, free green tea, high energy staff, clean and fresh food. I like the fact that you can order from a smart phone app or computer for take out. I’m giving them 3.5 stars for trying so hard to be modern and high tech. The food is actually good but the taste is way off from what were are accustomed to. It is definitely worth one visit to see if it suits you better than it did us.

Yum! I went to Europe on holiday and my companion and I only had one day in London. I’d been to London many times before but wanted to cram in all the sites into our day. We got to Tower of London and Tower Bridge just around lunch time so we decided to get something with hot soup since the weather was quite chilly. I had the miso ramen while my companion had the yakisoba noodles. Both were nothing crazy outstanding, but they were delicious and definitely hit the spot. We also shared an appetizer of chicken wings seasoned in an «Asian» way. Service is seriously quick and the staff is really nice. Seating is arranged in long tables where you may end up sitting next to some strangers, but luckily we were there at a non-busy hour so we had lots of space to ourselves.

Wagamama bietet wirklich leckeres asiatisches Essen.

:) HINGEHEN!
