Ordered edamame, prawn skewers, and a warm chili salad with tofu. Edamame was perfectly cooked with right amount of salt, prawn was marinated and very tasty, while the warm chili salad was standard Asian stir fry. I might not order the salad the next time but definitely recommend their appetizers.

Love this restaurant! :) This is a mix of asian food(japanese, corean…) My favourite one: Chahan rice dish. Smoothies are really good as well. Unfortunately, Wagamama has no restaurant in France!

Wagamama didn’t blow me away, but my ramen was satisfying enough at a decent price. Would come back if I needed an easy spot to go to in a pinch.

This is probably my favorite casual restaurant in London: great Thai food! I love the ramen and curry soup. Try their fresh fruit juices, they’re lovely ! Service is really quick but not pushy.

Had a quick dinner there last night. Service was fast to order from us and serve the food. I got the ramen noodles with beef, suace on the side. Beware the sauce is Siracha sauce and if included, can be really spicey. Everything was nice though the beef pieces were a touch too big to chew on. Ask for knives to make it through or you will end up chewing for a while. We got the seats by the window facing the street, very nice. The place is kind of big and can accommodate big groups thanks to their large communal tables set up. It is going to be a major dinner destination for us because it is close to where we live, easy to do, and menu looks appealing and asks for more discovery.

The service was good and the staff tried hard to accommodate my request for replacing ramen noodles with soba noodles in my pork«ramen» soup. The lady who took our order was confused with the switch and had to confirm twice with the chef and said it would be ok. When the dish arrived the gentleman delivered the dish as pork ramen. When I said I had asked for the soba switch he said the chefs inside probably didn’t understand and said ramen and soba are the same thing. So the dish was taken back and was delivered back to me by a different server as soba but were the same noodles as what they showed me earlier. And this server said yes there is a difference between ramen and soba but again the noodles were white. Ramen uses egg, regular flour and water. Soba noodles need at least 30% buckwheat flour to make soba noodles. Even though both are«thin noodles» ramen does not equate to soba noodles. The type of flour used is different and taste will be somewhat grainier for soba noodles. Sometimes colour may vary but traditional soba noodles are a dark brown sometimes greenish colour. If they had a white soba, most commonly there would be some dark speckles in it and the taste will not be chewy. Customers sitting next to us also ordered a ramen noodle soup and it was the exact same white noodles as my «soba» noodles I ordered. In their menu they say they have ramen/soba for variety. I understand this is a fusion restaurant but if they differentiate between the two, so should the noodles when served to customers.

So disappointed… First our entrees came, then later our appetizer, then finally our drinks. Really? Our server seemed quite unconcerned and unapologetic. Sort of a“take it as it comes” or go somewhere else attitude. The food was good and fairly priced. Not sure if our experience was an anomaly — or some kitchen management and server training is in order.

Spartanisch-stylische Einrichtung, Kellner schnell, freundlich, unverbindlich.

Wagamama consistently delivers on well structured and good tasting food. It is predictable but pleasant and the menu seems to keep expanding. At this branch however the service was quite aggravating with different staff members being overbearing by asking if everything was okay, it was a bit overboard. Also, the seating in Wagamama is always rather stiff so it is not quite comfortable to stay for long.

First of all, Wagamama is my favorite restaurant in London. I wasn’t sure if we should go to this branch because of complaints about the service but we went anyhow. Our server was attentive and quick.(I guess they hired new waiters.) The food was as always — good. The restaurant is clean and bright. It is wheelchair accessible which is a plus because there are stairs.

We’re not fan neither experts of Japanese food. We just liked it as it was. As soon as you’ve gone through the door there’s is a smile for you and a very helpful waiter(tress) proposes you a wide range of dishes. We went there twice during our 4 day stay in Earl’s Court, liked the food and loved the people.

The food is always great at Wagamama. I had duck gyoza, chili and garlic salt edamame, miso soup, kimchi(very minute serving for 1 pound), the Firecracker with prawns and the white chocolate ginger cheesecake. Sake was less than average. The reduction of one star is due to the abysmally slow service at this location. I go to Wagamama because the food is consistently good and the service is quick. It took 15 minutes for someone to come over and finally take our order. This location is smaller than most and decently staffed, so I’m at a loss as to why it took so long. Chop chop Earl’s Court Wagamama. Get your act together.

Wagamama continues to be my favorite place to go when I visit the UK. The minute I see one, the decision regarding what to have for lunch comes to an end. So I was very happy when the familiar sign caught my eye after a walk from Fulham. We sat facing the window overlooking Earl’s Court Road. I ordered the grilled fish ramen, which I’d never had before. It was, as all their ramens are, wonderfully delicious. Big pieces of various types of seafood — a big flaky fillet in the middle, some mussels(not in shells), squid, and probably other seafood I forgot. Broth was hot and incredibly flavorful, noodles perfectly slurpable. This bowl of hot goodness totally hit the spot. Service wasn’t so great, water never refilled and took forever to get the bill. But I’d sit through a lot worse for my favorite ramen!

Really glad I came here even though it’s pretty pricey. As a tourist, I really wanted to try Wagamama. I know there’s a couple in the States, but they’re only in the East Coast and I’m from California. As soon as I walked in, I was glad to see modern style décor, a large kitchen area that’s viewable to customers, and friendly staff. The waitress was very kind and patient to wait while my friend took forever to decide what she wanted. The complimentary green tea was nice and hot! I got the crispy squid and the yasai pad thai while my friend got some kind of green curry with rice. Squid = heavenly. I can eat a huge bowl of this. So delicious. Yasai pad thai = delicious flavors. I had requested no bean sprouts, and they were kind enough to do that. I hate restaurants that do not accommodate any dietary restrictions. However, it was only after I left that I realized I didn’t get ANY fried tofu in it… I thought the dish had tofu? Whenever I come back to London, I’ll be sure to hit up Wagamama!

This was not the best wagamama experience. It was not that busy so we decided to pop in for dinner. Many open tables. Took a while to be seated and our orders to be taken. Waiter seemed unenthusiastic. Waited a while for our food to arrive. Once it arrived. The temperature of our food was, ok. Not hot. Nor cold. It basically was sitting waiting to be taken to the table. Flavor, it was a little off. I was hoping for consistency from their location in Sydney(which is my first and most frequented location) or Boston. Boston and Sydney had the same familiar flavor. Maybe it has something to do with the temperature of our food. Oh well. Sorry but I had to give 2 stars. «Meh.

I LOVE wagamama. I’ve eaten both at the Earl’s Court branch(multiple times) as well as the one by Parson’s green. The noodle and soup dishes are great, portions are too big. The Earl’s Court restaurant seems to always have slow service. I travel for business and usually eat alone, that’s probably why I don’t get as much attention as the other tables. The one by Parsons Green was a little faster but not fast enough for lunch. I know this is a chain but for an American, the food is novel and tasty. I’ve never been impressed with their desserts though. Stick with chicken udon noodles or the soups and beer.

Living in NC, we don’t get too much ramen, so when we read about this place in Rick Steve’s London as well as Frommer’s, we wanted to give it a shot. My wife and I ate here about 3 times(she is pregnant and the ramen filled a craving). We felt the service was good and the food above average. We had a pleasant experience here and given that it is open late until 11:00PM, this definitely helped with us getting hungry at later hours after traveling from the East Coast. Not a must visit, but convenient, relatively affordable, and fast.

What can I say… the two times I’ve been to Wagamama in London I just haven’t been that impressed. The food is fine. Not amazing, not terrible. It’s fine. I feel the flavors are a bit bland. One time I had a rice-noodle soup, which was okay, but did not have very much flavor in the broth. The second time, I had some sort of spicy tomato sauce with rice noodles. The shrimp was good but the rest seemed a bit… limp? Gluten-free notes: I’m reviewing this restaurant to note that they have a gluten-free menu! All of the Wagamamas do, as far as I can tell. Eating gluten-free in Asian restaurants can be a challenge, with soy sauce hiding everywhere. Ask for the gluten-free menu, and they’ll show you which dishes are already gluten-free or can be made that way. It’s not as huge as the regular menu, but at least you know what you’re getting!

I’ve been meaning to try Wagamama since I arrived in London and I finally got the chance this past weekend. I didn’t have much time so I came in, sat down, resisted the urge to order a delicious-sounding coconut-based shrimp curry and instead opted for a healthy wheat noodle and vegetable broth. Ten minutes later, out came the largest bowl of noodles I’ve ever seen intended for one diner. I had anticipated it would be quite tasteless but to my delight, it was delicious. I was in a hurry and thus quite nearly burned my entire mouth while stuffing my face with noodles, mushrooms, tofu and sprouts. It was about 7 pounds for my bowl — a price I find fair for healthy and tasty food in this city. I was in and out in about 25 minutes so it’s good if you need a fast meal. And if you don’t mind losing all senses in your mouth for the next 24 hours.
