Vital Arts

Vital Arts are an amazing organisation. They are a charity funded collaborative programme of integrated art projects working closely with local hospitals, with the objective of improving the well being, comfort and healing of NHS patients, staff and he wider hospital community.
Hospitals are really horrid places, cheered up only by the dedicated staff and carefully chosen art adorning the walls. This is what Vital Arts does; curating and installing in hospitals all over London. Working closely with patients, staff and local schools, they endeavour to use art to send a positive message to the community, Whether it be a celebration of hardworking nurses, highlighting the need for high quality heath care etc.
This is an incredible resource, and one that often goes unnoticed and certainly unthanked. I am certain, should organisations like this not exist, then we would feel their loss. Check their website for what they do, and even how you can get involved. A thoroughly worthy cause.
