Godawful. It’s taken over three months for them to get a simple order for a pair of prescription sunglasses right. Bored, unfriendly staff who provide every impression of not giving a damn. There are so many opticians that offer a better, more organised, courteous service.

Vision Express Canary Wharf are very convenient if you work in the area, as you can get an eye test at lunchtime or after work. I wear contact lenses and glasses, so have used them for both eye health and sight tests. Their opticians are polite and professional, and have always provided me with useful advice. I once had a problem with the contact lenses I was wearing, so I stopped by and they gave me a free pair of replacement lenses. The negatives of Vision Express are the sales staff, they’re pushy and only interested in up-selling you on everything they can. The prices are also quite high, so I usually buy everything I need elsewhere.

Worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. It started by the so called optometrists giving me a wrong prescription, which resulted in making the wrong glasses for my eyes — twice!

I’ve used Vision Express before and found them helpful and proffessional, this place was no exception. I had a bunch of funky machine tests and then the usual one with the mad scientist glasses, which unfortunately are not sold by any of these places. The showed me photos of my retinas which I thought was rather cool. After the test they handed me over to a guy to deal with the spectacle spectacle. Wrong! As a bloke, my sense of style is prone to the occasional massive faux pas and so they swapped him out for a very helpful girl, who picked out a new pair of glasses which she said looked good on me and as I agreed, the deal was done.
