Glass shop with a sophisticated modern and definitively artistic edge; everything here has a twist… brandy snifters with delicate and slightly-​off silhouettes, vases that look crumpled, and plates with wacky detailing… even a proper chair made entirely off glass; this is a shop to take your time to marvel through.
Even if you don’t consider yourself a fan of intricate glass showpieces, I guarantee at least one thing here will creep up on your taste and unexpectedly take your breath away — so many things here are just surprisingly exquisite.
The other particularly neat thing about the shop, and is something that makes it so much more of a gallery than a mere glass and china store, is the fact that there’s a rotating exhibition — featuring artists or centering around a theme. It also doesn’t hurt that the staff are lovely and encourage you to spend time looking at what they have put together.
