Union of Brunel Students

The Brunel student union comprises of only 1 bar (locos) and 1 club (the academy). The bar is pretty nice, with lots of seating and some sofas. There are flat screens around usually playing music videos, and a few slot machines for those who like a flutter. There are also 3 pool tables, although trying to get one in the evening is going to be difficult. Occassionally the only way to get a table is to play someone for it, which is not great if you just want a game with a friend. The drinks and food at locos are reasonably priced and fairly tasty.
The Academy is the student unions club, and is pretty small, there is nothing really special going on here. The club nights have been better of late with a more varied schedule, from what was once dominated by only R&B and Hip Hop nights. However, most students eventually opt to head out into central London for more fun rather than stay at the academy.
